With over 30,000 surgeries performed and more than 3,500 health camps organized across Nepal, Prof. Dr. Jageshwor Gautam is one of the country’s most respected names in maternal and women’s health.
Currently serving as a Senior Consultant at Om Hospital, Kathmandu, he has also led major national health institutions — including as Director of Paropakar Maternity & Women’s Hospital and Spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Driven by a passion for safe motherhood, advanced surgical techniques, and accessible care, Dr. Gautam continues to combine clinical excellence with research and teaching as a Professor at the National Academy of Medical Sciences.
